Start any video or social media video project from the homepage.

Access Magic Video
On the left sidebar, select Templates.

Upload video clips, footage, and images
The upload dialog box appears. Upload your 3-10 clips, images, and other assets you wish to use on your video.

Describe the video you want
In the text box, describe the kind of video you want. We will use this to auto-generate and auto-edit a video matching your text prompt. Submit your prompt to generate your design.

Preview your auto-edited video
Preview the generated AI video and polish it further. Add filters, remove video backgrounds, and more. Magic Video also auto-syncs the music, which you can swap or customize.

How is my data used?

AI-powered Design Generation is only active if you choose to use the feature. When you use it, it only processes the assets and instructions you submit, and does not have access to other parts of your projects. The AI-powered Design Generation model is trained on public web pages. The Designer Generator data is used for content moderation and security purposes only (but not to improve the services generally for other users).

Do AI-generated videos on Canva have watermarks?

No, Canva videos do not have watermarks. In some cases, watermarks appear when a Canva Free account uses Pro elements or AI video effects templates. If you use an AI video effect template on a free account, a small, white Canva logo may appear by default, but you can easily remove this in the editor. If you are on Canva Pro, your videos will not have any watermarks.
